I think KenB was qualifying the fact that the floor surface area of the QC (10rc x 11.005rc) is nearly half that of the KC (10rc x 20rc).
If the KC was to be the burial chamber then presumably its physical size (in terms of putting space) was a factor.
In which case it is reasonable to expect the QC (in its role of 'contingency burial chamber number 2') to have needed to be at least as large in floor area as the KC.

I am very familiar with the Pyramid's dimensions and I cannot see where a floor measuring 10rc x 20rc fits in "with the overall symmetry of the pyramid".
Please could you elaborate on this?
