One point mentioned in the radio interview that I found intriguing is that the latest group of 3 and 4-year olds in CA and IN (I think) have shown far lower rates of autism. These are states that banned mercury in the vaccine. It's more circumstantial evidence that there is a link, if we see a drop off in the numbers correlated to the removal of the mercury.
When I was in grad school, I was taught, one in 10,000 was the "normal" rate of occurance of autism. In the 1990s that was one in 166... One of the things "they" have tried to do is alter the definition of autism to make it look like it's more common then we have thought.
Another point in the interview is that when the autistic children were treated with "chelating" treatment, to remove the mercury, they got rid of much more than other children. Kirby has found that there is some deficiency in metabolism linked with the occurance of autism and the treatment to rid those of mercury. So, the vaccines theorectically are more dangerous to certain individuals than to others.
