What really interests me here is the idea that there is circumstantial evidence and it is not being opening discussed in the scientific community (apparently), and it is being suppressed by the news media. AFAIK, no major media seem willing to deal with Kirby. The discussions we have had on this board in the past have dealt with exactly the issues about this story that trouble me.
Kirby has been attacked by "Quack watch" which is troubling. He's a journalist. He does not claim to be anything else; I heard him this morning. He wants to get information out to people, and it seems that has made him a target of pseudo-skeptics.
