As most of you know or should know as it was common knowledge when I was growing up that Nazi war criminals had escaped to South America. Eichmann being the most news worthy of them as well as Mengele. What Hunting Hitler has done is to document two separate escape routes used by top level Nazis to escape Berlin and flee Germany and make it safely to South America. Along the way it shows the complicity of ... THE RED CROSS, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, JAUN PERON ( serving from June 1946 to September 1955, UNTIL HE WAS OUSTED) and thus forcing The Nazis to flee to neighboring Paraguay where they found a Nazi friendly president in Alfredo Stroessner who stayed in power until 1988 when he was deposed in a coup and at which time had Hitler escaped and lived would have been 99 years old. The evidence uncovered of how The Third Reich survived and carried on business as usual under the protection of these world leaders is truly frightening. along the way they discovered that The Death Camps in Chile from 1973 to 1988 were modeled after the concentration camps and may have even been run by The Nazis ... It is a ground breaking documentary and although the only proof offered of Hitler being there is eye witness testimony from people who actually saw him when they were very young ... there is unfortunately no concrete evidence to prove he was actually there, They did not uncover the name he might have been using and thus tracking down his body for now would be impossible. It was a wonderful series and I am very sorry that some people's prejudices kept them from learning some disturbing history of what was going on in South America from 1946 to at least 1988 ... and perhaps beyond ... and what was The Nazi's main goal through all of this ... the plans have been found, they had decided they wanted to bomb New York with a nuclear bomb ... and through it all we slept ...
