The Searchers' character was a pretty dark one for JW compared to the majority of ones he played! Now The Cowboys and Quiet Man are about the two favourites of mine. Of course with all the ones he has done I am sure there are others that I have forgotten! The daughters love The Cowboys movie. The line "I've broke my back once, and my hip twice. And on my worst day I could still beat the hell out of you." is one of my daughter's favourite quotes from that movie! She says it reminds her of her poppa(my father who not only looks and is built like him, but is also named John Wayne). Another quote I like from that movie and use often is the "Big mouth don't make a big man."

John Wayne was/is the best at one liners I have ever watched! I could picture most of these moments in the movies when these were said.
