I think a lot of people fail to appreciate the detachement that a defence attorney MUST assume.


The Legislative responsibility..create laws
The Judicial repsonsibility..interpret those laws
The Attorney's responsibilty...his client


The Simpson case was one where the investigating detectives assumed the prerogative of the second, in contempt of the first, with no regard for the rights of the third.



Believe it or not I knew he'd get off.

I also believe that he damn near cut her head right off with a knife. An slash so violent and powerful that in the first 24 hours the news mentioned a search for a shovel!!!
