I didn't say it surprised me or that it was even unexpected. It's disappointing and sad. I don't like what the media does, and I have a right to say so.

I don't know that people ever said such vicious things about him when he was alive, I simply felt that focusing on the Simpson case, as in this thread, and trivializing him, as Ian did, was uncalled for.
