John didn't mention them, because they're not based on any evidence or argument. Rivera just states that he is sure a 12,000 year-old Tiwanaku will show up -- he offers no reason for this certainty, nor argument, nor evidence. Steede follows the disproven methods of Posnansky in reaching his (incompatible) dates.
In contrast, Prof. Alan Kolata and others have published in detail all the data that leads them to date Tiwanaku in the manner they do. They present their cards, face up, on the table. In reply, Rivera and Steede claim to be holding winning hands -- under it.
Worthless assertion in support of a worthless, outdated position hardly constitutes cogent support for that position. I hope you'd agree.
