The problem with this theory is that Thuban was almost 2 degrees off the North pole. If they wanted to encode this why not chose an angle 30 – 2 = 28 degrees? It makes no sense.
The descending passageway is on the North – South axis so it is facing due North. It doesn’t point to Thuban when Thuban is at transit but let’s see if it can point to it when it is in it’s lower culmination(minimal latitude). Thuban altitude at it’s its lower culmination was 27.747 degrees. It’s still to big – the deseeding pass. angle is 26.53 degrees. At the focal point it’s even smaller 26.17 degrees. Thus it doesn’t seem that it encodes Thuban at least at Giza.
Consider that the GP represents Earth. There is an entrance that should point to Thuban but at Giza it doesn’t. Could this mean that the architects of this structure didn’t enter Earth at Giza? Where did they enter – or better yet first enter Earth. Where – not when - was the first time?
