I sorted the values in that Birdsall link by average thickness and graphed it.
The Average Thickness generally seems to follow a log curve
Formula(inches):
Height 1 = 20.05(min height) + 16.46(scale) x ( 2.312(or log(205) ) - log(1) )
Height 2 = 20.05(min height) + 16.46(scale) x ( 2.312(or log(205) ) - log(2) )
Perhaps it can be tweaked a little...
ie. Using a different Base (e):
Height 1 = 20.05(min height) + 7.15(scale) x ( 5.323(or ln(205) ) - ln(1) )
Perhaps that 20.05 was intended to be 1 cubit, etc...

Note: I am not advocating that the Ancient Egyptians knew what a log curve was; All I have shown is that there is a pattern... that it does not conform with sqrt or cube root... and that the pattern does conform with a log curve.
