Hello All,

While studying Petrie's handwritten Plate 8 "Levels of the Courses of the Great Pyramid"at [www.touregypt.net]
I found it extremely difficult ascertain any method used by the Ancient Egyptians for establishing the rise or thickness of successive courses using 14/11 seked. Each successive course seems to diminish or rise in cubit fractions equal to neither palms nor digits. And the Corrected Great Pyramid Course Elevations Of Ronald Birdsall located here: [www.ronaldbirdsall.com]
Offered no additional insight in establishing any method they may have used.
Does anyone have any additional information on this?

Regards,
Jacob
