There is a debate between Jon B. and myself regarding the finished casing stones of G2. The height of this structure is dependant upon one of two measures recorded by Petrie and Perring.
If Perring’s measured angle and calculated height of the structure is correct and the upper platform being 9 feet (3 meters) wide as he claims, then Petrie’s estimated height calculated from the base angle stones would be incorrect.
The photo below shows the two distinct angles forming the structure, these are developed from the two base width measures…the inner being smaller due to the assumed removal of casing stones. Unlike G1, the core and casing lines meet at one distinct point.
