Hi all [ all 2 of you who may be reading this thread
]
Here is an interesting development that may or may not have been mentioned before. I honestly don't know. However in our never ending quest to find points that line up and may have been control survey lines we have concentrated on the actual corners of the pyramids themselves. Reading Ken Bakeman's page which I have posted elsewhere in this thread I had the thought to perhaps use something different, like the enclosure walls and here is what I have come up with. Please enjoy.
According to the drawings I have it would appear that the south east corners of all three pyaramid enclosure walls align in a straight line. Please see thumbnail below and as always click for a larger image:
Please note where the centerline of P2 extended eastward hits our blue baseline.
From here I measured the angle of this blueline and found that it was approx. 46.1 degrees and so I corrected and made it exactly 45 degrees and then turned it so it was now horizontal and then drew in the circles according to what Ken had suggested and got this configuration.
In this final image (for now) we have drawn in a few addiitonal lines. We have extended the two major causeways toward the west and have noted that their intersection point seems to fall EXACTLY on the tangent line drawn exactly 90 degrees to our blue control line. We can also note that a line drawn from the western center of P1 downward (south eastward) seems to hit exactly where the causeway enters the temples. And as a final thing to note please have a look at the fact that the southern edge of pyramid 2 seems to hit this same point and that the tangent to the larger red circle denoting the circle enclosing the enclosure walls seems to define the southern edge of the south temple at the end of the causeway.
I have found a few other interesting "oddities" and will post them as time allows.
cheers
