That makes absolutely no sense. There's nothing mystical or magical about units of length.

We've never seen any papyrus or other writing that shows they knew how to calculate the volume of a sphere (V=4/3*pi*r(cubed)). Further, solving for volume there doesn't give you the length of a meter (unless you use one and only one particular set of numbers.)

Copyrights are a modern invention (after 1700) ... and you can't copyright a physical object like that.
