A new discovery suggests so as experts Sherif El Morsi and Antoine Gigal have recently come across a strange fossil, to say the least, which proves this exact fact.

The two have been working at the Giza complex for well over twenty years now and yet they believe this to be the most important discovery they’ve ever come across regardless

...

The discovery came out of nowhere, as El Morsi just randomly happened to trip over what appeared to be an echinoid fossil. This is the fossil of a sea urchin which dated back to thousands of years ago.

He believes that this temple site of Menkare used to be the site where a massive lagoon was and that this actually submerged everything in sight alongside the Great Sphinx.
