There is no evidence of such an "acceleration" towards the end of the 3rd Dynasty unless one accepts the unfinished pyramid and Meidum were built at this time. While I agree this is very likely to be the case, I still would not say this as a "fact" without some kind of qualifier that in truth there is uncertainty. Right?

Also, I am curious why you used the revised AE chronology of Horung et al which is not widely accepted and directly contradicted by the science, as you mention, which also includes the 1984/1995 RCD. It seems obvious you are not all in on their interpretation so why bother citing it at all and instead just use Shaw's Cambridge chronology?
