It was never my idea to bury a five step pyramid under the smooth sides and clad them.
It wasn't my idea to cause the hot spots I predicted.
It wasn't my idea to never use the word "ramp" somewhere in the entire culture that survived.

It also wasn't my idea to leave the evidence that does exist and then fail to systematically seek said evidence. It also wasn't my idea to not have a word for "idea" in the entire language and then fail to notice it.
I steal lots of ideas but none of these were mine. I can take no credit for any of them.
I was merely observing that there was no real possibility that the physical evidence as implied here would show up in a book written about how to build pyramids or reverse engineer them. This is the nature of people who model beliefs. Ideas apply to models and are derived from belief. Everyone has his own ideas and his own models. Remarkably this applies even to what we believe is evidence.
