> "First was the path, then the pavement, then the pyramid."
I know it's difficult for people to follow my logic and it's quite impossible for me to explain it in most cases.
Of course it's entirely possible that at some time after the pavement was ripped up they installed the footpath where it had been. They could have had hundreds of reasons for needing a footpath here. But the question remains; why here. Did they know about the thermal anomaly and people came to put their hands on it? Was this some pilgrimage made by ancient peoples and forgotten? Or maybe they had a nuclear powered barbeque they kept right inside the pyramid out of the rain and blowing sand.
Every possibility is very far fetched. Indeed, every possibility is also refuted by the lack of corroboration of known facts.
Even with no other facts in evidence a hot spot in a solid stone structure connected to a path is quite obviously the point where an older path was intersected or it is a door. But there are other facts: Many of them. The most important "other fact" is that there are millions of pounds of missing material within only 25' of the exterior of the pyramid centered on a spot directly beyond this anomaly. There is no reason to discard this fact or any fact whatsoever. This missing material actually explains how the anomaly can occur at all. The missing material can be considered as the builders trying to reduce the load on an existing structure at the end of the path and corridor. It is this structure acting as a heatsink and causing the anomaly through the corridor.
It is illogical to suggest a porous structure would create a highly localized hot spot and this is more illogical in light of the existing path and the lightness of this region of pyramid. A porous structure necessarily could only generate a highly diffused hot "spot". It would be a "warm" "region" as probably exists above this area yet remains unreported.
There is a structure back here with a 98% probability. Any other possibilities would be obvious. Anyone can explain away anything but the data are all right there and are in agreement. These stones are kept warm all the time on cool days in the autumn so when the sun shines on them they heat up more than those around them. This is simply the reality we are observing. It is obvious that this is reality and any claim to the contrary requires substantiation.
How telling that this heat sink is providing very cool air now and the stones are all cold. Anyone walking by with an infrared camera could see this. These will remain visible regardless but will only appear under more extreme conditions if air flow is blocked.
It's been 2 1/2 years now and still no answers, no data, no report, and possibly no progress at all.
There are countless tests that should be getting done in conjunction with this anomaly and it's quite possible none of them are. But regardless if people are ready for the truth yet or not they could at the very least publish the results of the initial survey and the one year long exposure done since. The longer this takes the more likely the results will be buried. I fear their experience here could result in no real science ever being done at Giza again. They will be more afraid of the pyramid than ever.
Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
