2 cubits measured between two lines found on a wall...lines that could have been put there eons after the wall, and I assume when they built the wall they finished it without measurement lines on it...additionally 2 cubits is hardly 1000. No other measurement lines were found on the wall, very little evidence for such a long wall and enclosure. Lauer speculates 524 mm per cubit. Far too often people like to jump to a conclusion to satisfy their own reasoning; i.e. is the side length of G1 440 cubits or is it 439.8391 cubits? The latter is the actual measurement using Petrie's 20.62 inch standard. I have evidence which supports 439.8391 cubits as the intended length and I can irrefutably prove it because it is the byproduct of 1 auroura (100 x 100 rc), one of the oldest known measurements which predate the fourth dynasty.
