While it cannot be denied the Giza Plex could have been laid out to be a star map, there is still no proof it was.

Potential candidate explanations,

1) The bend in the layout closely matches the terrain on Giza Plateau.

2) It was offset to make the smaller pyramid look more impressive.

3) The layout just ended up the way it was as chosen by different builders with each pyramid being on its site by choice.

NONE of those explanations is impossible.

To assume it had to be a star chart, imho, is as erroneous as assuming it HAD to be happenstance. The truth is; we don't know...
