There were no people called "Nubians" by the ancient Egyptians.

Ancient Egyptians painted themselves black as well as brown along with others to the south of Egypt.

Since you are referring to the article, the article indeeds shows an image of Egyptians in the same complexion as so called "Nubians".

There is no Nile Silt that is literally black. The silt of the Nile is brown.

Getting back to the point from prior to the diversion about black "Nubians" in Egyptian art, the reason queens and Princesses from the early 11th and 18th dynasties were represented as black is because they symbolize renewal. If they represent renewal of the royal line and they were jet blue black, then what does that mean about the line itself? It means renewal of the line from the South as symbolized by the flow of the river which flows from the South bringing black soil, black people and black blood. That is the only reason why the Kushites were even able to renew Egypt in the 25th dynasty and black Africans have been doing so since the beginning of Egypt because it is in the South that Egyptian culture originated. This is also stated in the article, but of course it is called a political marriage. Political in what sense? That black women were symbolic of birthing a new generation of kings? That these great mothers were doing what is symbolized by Isis and Osiris and birthing the seed?
