Collete,
I have crawled over every part of the pyramid I could legally access. Unfortunately that has not yet included the QC, the Subterranean Chamber, or the relieving chambers. I have spent a lot of time examining the entrance, Mamun's Tunnel, the Ascending Passage, the Grand Gallery, the Portcullis Chamber and Khufu's actual burial chamber.
Of course, I also examined many of the core blocks and casing stones on the exterior.
However, it is not a visit to Khufu's pyramid itself that makes one understand the structure, but a close examination of the pyramids that preceeded it (Djoser, Sneferu South and North, Khafre, Unas, Teti, etc.) That really put the one mortuary structure in its proper religious/spiritual/historical context.
One of the best places for quality images of these structures and sites is Jon Bodsworth's site: www.egyptarchive.co.uk
Jon's work is brilliant.
Is there anything I can answer for you?
