The problems of identifying Sah with Orion have been discussed many times on this board, it's highly suspect, and there is actually no premise for doing so in my opimion, other than Late Period mentions of Orion being seen as Horus or Osiris by the Greeks.

I'd rather discuss the case for Orion being associated with Sokar purely on its own merits, instead of countering the given assumptions that it is a question of case closed and we already have our man, as it were, in the sense of Sah.
