An epitaph of Sokar is "great god with his two wings opened", right, and you've heard of the "House of Sokar", well i'm relating those to the Constellation of Orion, i can't provide you with any citations for this as no-one else has, though at least a couple of Egyptologists have associated Sokar with Orion, without going into how this would translate into any specifics or iconography.
