There's no doubt there were solar qualities to the pyramids. After all, Ra was the living pharaoh's father.
As Ritva has eloquently pointed out many, many times here, the idea of a dichotomy between solar and stellar issues simply wasn't a thing that existed in Old Kingdom Egypt.
This dichotomy has been falsely projected onto ancient Egypt by a handfull of modern extreme skeptics who want to deny the importance of stellar concepts to the Old Kingdom scribes.
As we know, this is really simply a distortion of the facts and the creation of an artificial ideological schism, to support their efforts to undermine Robert Bauval. Their ideas have nothing to do with Egyptology at all.
