Not at all. Badawy and Trimble made a very convincing case that the southern shaft in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid was directed to Orion's belt in c. 2600 BC. Their date is a little off the accepted c. 2500 BC, but otherwise their argument is sound and based on textual evidence and precessional astronomy. It doesn't matter how much 'authority' Badawy had or not, his argument and the case he made with Trimble is valid not matter their academic credentials.

Nonsense. The shaft can only point to one star, which I proposed Al nitak. However in my books and articles I clearly stated on numerous occasions, and show several times with diagrams, that the shaft pointed at the figure of Sah, made up of not one but several stars, principally Orion's belt. I have never suggested or supported the single-star/Sah hypothesis.
I do not like semantics, nor convoluted arguments by people who try and put words in my mouth. I am not impressed with such immature debating tactics. I think it is more than clear to all what I consider Sah to be, namely the constellation of Orion or part of Orion and Lupus.
