Anthony:
You mention of your math knowledge. I commend you on your past achievement.
Now is the time to use it…!
You wanted a 3 1/7 expressed at Giza…I presented you with one hundred of them !
(3 1/7)x100 = 314.4
Yours: “…If the evidence says they didn't have it…”
What evidence are you refering to…please enlighten me.
Yours: “…then they wouldn't have gone around making it even more complicated... because they didn't have it…”
What is so complicated about the ratios of circles to a square…it’s the basic of all basic spherical/linear comparisons in mathematics…you “can’t” reduce the simplicity of this ratio any further…period…!
Take a square and lay the four sides to form a straight line.
Now take a circle of the identical width as the square and lay out the circumference and compare both lengths…presto…!
I wager that the first “thinkers” of 6,000 years ago did it…irrelevant of the designers at Giza…!
Yours: “…Show they had it, then you can make it more complicated. Not until then, though…”
Anthony:
You read my complete posting before responding, therefore you have read and viewed the drawing attached.
That being true then it proves without question of your inability to follow, lack of interest, or forgetfulness in mathematics…one of the three.
Yours: “…National Merit Scholarship Commended, mostly based on my math scores which were top 2-3% in the country…”
I suggest you not promote your math achievents…the stock market will take a tumble if they get wind of the 2-3% in your country.
Best.
