It's not rocket science.
There's no doubt they had an acquaintenceship with hydraulics and astronomy.
There are numerous artifacts which are round including a great deal of pottery
and even the stone hinge on the Great Pyramid. There are holes drilled through
stones which imply movement of liquids. They moved large stones on boats and
barges which might have had some radial segments. Very few engineers have ever
done much of anything through mere "trial and error", and it's difficult to be-
lieve the ancient Egyptians became so advanced by merely getting a bigger boat
each time they buried one in the Nile mud. Building even the simplest things re-
quires a nodding understanding of more math than one stone plus one stone equals
two stones.
Menkaure's pyramid presumably could have been built in more than a single place
to define the winter solstice, but instead it was built in such location as to
make the line through the GP to equal the same slope as the GP. So not only are
these three pyramids part of a calender or marker of some sort but the implication
is that the ancients knew their location relative the Earth.
There probably really are more than a single kind of truth but there will be over-
lap that has nothing whatsoever to do with perception or heritage. Pi will equal
pi "everywhere" and one stone plus one stone will always equal two stones. Anyone
who has ever built much of anything will be pretty impressed by 2 1/2 million stones.
