Yeah, but the pyramids tell us a lot that the mastabas never could.

I think this idea is fascinating, and I think you've worded it very appropriately. I don't want to get into it here, though, as it is not the actual topic of the discussion. I'm trying for the "negative proof" angle to show just how many flaws can easily be found in the 22/7 hypothesis.
