According to German scientists, the cause of the ecological disaster in the Oder River may be the so-called golden algae, which, however, occurs only in the case of water salinity - said Dr. Alicja Pawelec, water protection specialist at WWF, on TVN24. She emphasized that such algae would not have the right to occur in a fresh river, so one should ask where it came from.
