Shellfish poisoning of dogs on coast confirmed
Earlier this month two dogs died after eating washed-up fish along the Norfolk and Suffolk coast.
Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (EIFCA) said it was "highly likely" both dogs died from paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP).

Dead crabs and fish washed up on Teesside beaches
An investigation is under way after dead crabs, lobsters and fish were washed up along part of the North East coast.
Such wash-ups have been reported at Bran Sands at Redcar, Seaton Carew and Saltburn in the past few weeks.
A dead porpoise was also photographed at South Gare, near the mouth of the River Tees, at the weekend.
An expert said it was "very concerning" and "quite odd" it appeared to be localised around the Tees.

No 'direct link' between Yorkshire beaches and mystery dog illness
Cases of severe vomiting and diarrhoea have been reported by veterinary businesses in and around Bridlington.
Dog owners have said their pets became ill following beach visits, with the cause of the illness still unknown.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council's coastal services team found "nothing unusual" during recent inspections.

North East fishing trade hit by mystery shellfish deaths
Fishermen in Whitby are calling for financial support from the government to "save" the North East fleet amid a mystery over mass shellfish deaths.
Crabs and lobsters are dying by the thousands due to an unknown cause.
Fisherman have alleged it may be linked to the dredging of the River Tees and want an investigation and compensation.
The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) said it was "engaging with fishermen" but inquiries had ruled out dredging as a cause.

Fishermen fear for their future after the deaths of thousands of crabs and lobsters off the North East's coast.
Mass wash-ups were first reported in October with the government saying a natural algal bloom was to blame.
Campaigners and fishermen disputed that and instead cited the dumping of dredged materials from the River Tees, which was "ruled out" by officials.
