Ritva, this question goes to the root definition of what "self" is and how one view the self!

Note that ever since I've been in the "wireless" business, I've been viewing the self differently. For example, I see the spinal cord as an array antenna that can capture and tune various frequencies into the brain for further processing. Many people will feel the back of their necks change temperature, they get the shivers and in many cases their hair will also rise when sensing the energy from these frequencies.

So, if one includes this antenna structure in the definition of the self, then we also have this way to receive input directly into the brain (and also to generate output). Meaning that if a "thought" pops into one's head, it could be very well that it is being received and not always self generated...

In addition, some people with brains that are not in the norm will hear sounds (including music) and see pictures (even with their eyes closed) directly into their brain. Most of these people are usually considered to be mentally sick like schitzo, etc...

Further more, there are the cases where people will remember past life experiences! There was one of these cases on ABC last night from a little boy who remembered being a US-WWII pilot and being shut down by the Japanese in the Pacific Ocean around Japan. His father then began to research what he was saying and actually found who the little boy was claiming to have been...

Ritva, what this all mean is that the self definition must therefore be extended into the frequency domain vs. just the time/space domain. This also suggests that information and data will remain fully registered in such a frequency domain and then further projected and/or re-mapped to other time/space locations for further experiences...

Back to thoughts. If one can see thoughts as structured information and data, then this will fit-in very well into this type of self definition! In addition, since thought do not have objective form, the evidence strongly suggests that they could easily adhere to this classification of structured information and data...

Even "random thoughts" have some structure, but they are still not fully connected. It is like datagrams or packets of information floating around that need further processing...

However, in this definition, generating a thought vs. receiving a thought becomes a bit more complicated since they just seem to pop up in one's head. In addition, it is very difficult if not impossible to isolate the traditional self since wireless signals just cannot always be isolated and Ultra Wideband (U.W.cool smiley has proven now that information can pop in and out of time/space...

If information is poping in from inner time/spaces, then the bandwidth is very large and space (wavelength) is very small, so there is no way at all to isolate from that since it is from within...

In summary, many life cycles are captured from within and then one just pops in and out to various time/spaces via projection or through re-mapping...

Hope that helps..
