Yes, there is a postulated black hole,called Sagittarius A, at the centre of our galaxy at RA 17h 45m 40s;Dec -29ยบ 00' 28.00". The galactic centre is in Sagittarius -- the bit of the Milky Way that never gets very far above the horizon from the UK. It is currently transiting just after 1am (BST). You need a good southern horizon; the Milky Way is so dense in that region that it has often been mistaken (by non-astronomers) for clouds. The brighter stars of Sagittarius form an asterism that is usually likened to a teapot.
