I suppose that a transfer of energy is movement to a certain extent!
But, for example, when I type on my keyboard here in California and you receive my message in the UK or where ever you are, nothing is really physically moving...

That is exactly my point! In true reality there are no particles only waves. So, movement is NOT the same thing as our perceived physical reality movement in time-space...

Because it is really NOT travelling, like the water wave example above! For example, if I could launch an extremely small time pulse (picoseconds) with large enough power (like in ultra wideband, time modulated information!) then I could then "potentially" and in theory receive that pulse several galaxies away rather fast...because the pulse entered inner space, goes below the noise and can, therefore, pop up anywhere...
So, what is space-time anyway? Maybe just a process to map and remap energy at different frequencies...Meaning that one can potentially just warp space-time (like a warm hole!) and step into another galaxy far, far away...
