If you've ever tried to film a TV or computer screen you will find that when filmed the images on these screens will appear to be flickering, or "banded" in your film. This is due to a difference in phases between the two technologies. I believe that there may be a similar type of phenomenon that can occur when one tries to put on film the light emanating from a true UFO - thus allowing one to see the object visually in person, yet have it not show up on the film you are trying to shoot.
The trouble with most who try to discredit the reality of the UFO phenomenon is that they invariably only accept technological pathways that are currently known and in use in our "modern" day era. There are trillions of other galaxies out there, most far older than our own. On a statistical basis alone, there are without any doubt a huge number of other civilizations going about their business in these galaxies, many of these being unimaginably further advanced than we - both in terms of their technologies and maturity. The wonder of it all is that they would ever be interested in wasting their time with the knuckle-dragging likes of us. I assume many of these visiting civilizations are doing what they can in a noble attempt to help us, but more than likely they are focusing their attention on making positive use of whatever material they can glean that may be unique to this planet, just in case this opportunity should, as it may well, cease to exist.
