I think I like colors in combinations, like purple and lavender; teal and turquoise; blue and green; yellow and orange; dark pink and light pink or white. That's how I put clothes together. I also like gray and black together, which I wear a lot because it doesn't show dirt much. I decorate rooms in color schemes as well, including prints I put on the walls. Right now I can look up to the right and see three beautiful prints in the same color scheme: the movie poster of Saving Private Ryan, Picasso's The Miserables, and the museum print of da Vinci's Drawings of Horses; then behind me on the opposite wall are Paul Klee's AD Parnassum, 1932 and Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, which make an interesting combo. The curtains I got from IKEA are striped in dark blue and lighter blue-green (or turquoise). The furniture is eclectic, mostly of different woods on two sides, and cheap modern stuff on another. That's my office.
