I go with hunter green, that would be my favourite also.

British racing cars are painted green (Commonwealth racing cars add stripes of various sorts). Italian cars are red, German cars white.

[www.miata.net] says that "British racing green, to dispel some of the arguments, is not any particular shade of green, but Napier green is preferred. Stirling Moss drove a light sea-green BRM in the 1959 French Grand Prix. This was quite contrary to the accepted general opinion of what constitutes "British Racing Green" but was, nevertheless, acceptable."

So Hunter Green is not the same as British Racing Green, but can be the same as some British Racing Green!
