The lost civilizations exist. Please note the plural. Start with Gobeki Tepi. Something way out of place. And others yet to be found. Most unlikely this site was something unique and singular.

Then we get to graham's MAIN peception and conclusion. We humans for whatever reason have a form of collective amnesia. We forgot about Gobeki and the others to be found.

The bump comes from everyone else including Graham in the assumption it had to be advanced and technolocial. Nowhere does the Atlantis story by Plato suggest that. In the story Athens defeated this civilization. So much for any kind of technological superiority.

Look at the present day. The west has an impressive relative technological superiority (military?) yet it is being fought to a standstill in the Hindu Kush.

Too much is made of supposed superiority instead of just civilization that disappeared.
