Any advanced civilization existing at the end of the last Ice Age would have had to have lived in the temperate zone between the North and South Ice sheets. They should have left us with plenty of evidence of their existence, not just at the coast, but inland as well, and none of it would have been threatened by the Ice. It's therefore reasonable to argue that if such a civilization had existed, its existence would not be in any doubt due to overwhelming amount of evidence that they would have left behind. Unfortunately, there isn't any,
