Hedging his bets, is he? Reminds me of Nancy Lieder and her constant explanations of why the Zetans and Planet X haven't showed up. 40 years is enough time that he'll probably be dead, so it'll give him money (products for believers) until the end of his life and he doesn't have to constantly explain why things ren't happening.

Yes, if they'd learn to believe in evidence based knowledge and know how to check information presented to them. Current fads lead me to believe this may be a long time in coming.

If we tranformed our consciousness to a better understanding of physics and science we'd get lots further. In spite of Penrose's version of spooky action at a distance, there is no replicable evidence that transforming consciousness has an effect on the physical world. Positive thinking makes YOU feel better and empowered, but it doesn't do a thing for your ability to affect that rock over yonder.
