A FORTY-YEAR WINDOW!!! Well this is the first I've heard of that; up until now the whole Mayan calendar prophecy thing was supposed to be incredibly specific and precise (hence an actual day and month, not just a year). I suppose something could now be said about the concept of "significant digits" and how they relate to science - but it's Hancock; why even bother?

A forty-year window. That's absolutely precious.
