No one that I know argues that Modern man emerged from the last Ice Age. AS the conditions for Human existence in Europe and Northern Africa stabilised ..the inhabitants were able to take more time moving forward instead of just surviving. I see no reason to think that any race, society or culture was any more or less CAPABLE than any other.
