It contained references to undeniable fact, and expressed the writer's views (in which no offensive language was used) about a certain school of thought.

You might find this of interest. As has been mentioned countless times on Ma'at, the Mayan calendar is cyclical: when it reaches a certain point, it simply goes back to the beginning and starts up again.
