Funny you should bring this up. Though not directly relevant to this thread, during the similar doomsday scare I talked about above, I had THE most profitable year, period. People were spending money "like there was no tomorrow"! I could use another year like that!! The last 2-3 years have been hellish (academic term: close to bearish, but worse.).
