Horizon's editorial team and the BBC were under NO obligation to repeat Atlantis Reborn.
It was a decision made by Horizon - and it required permission both from the higher levels of the BBC and the BSC itself.
Repeating a film following a 90% favourable BSC report is unprecedented.
For us, it was a chance to show the film again - with a minor alteration in the Orion section and a couple of small changes in the interests of accuracy.
Although the BSC found in our favour on radiocarbon we also included Hancock's 'ideas' about radiocarbon dating which he seems to accept for some ancient sites and not others.</HTML>
