Call me an old cynic, but I think the poilcy of dropping food over random areas smacks of propoganda - surely there are better ways to target the needy?. I agree that some food is better than none at all, I just think we should be honest enough tp acknowledge the failings of our own 'side'.
Speaking of the failings of our side, after saturday's performance I shouldn't think the rest of the world will be quaking in its boot at the thought of playing England in the World Cup - it's a shame the Jocks didn't make it to the party though (tee hee!!)

I simply regard posts such as the one to which you reacted in this thread as an antidote to the occasionally gung-ho musings of Florida-based hyper-Republicans (naming no names!!).
