<HTML>Haven't really looked at the response last night's program over at GH.

However, I did find the program to be exceptional in once facet...

it "took on" Graham's and Robert's theories in the SAME manner that THEY have taken on the mainstream approach. The program was written in REVERSE of a traditional "mystery" program... where the "ordinary" version is explained first, followed by the cliche..."But is that REALLY how it happened?"

This one switched the roles. It was rather interesting.

I have to say that Krupp really did NOT make a lot of sense, though. Robert's case SEEMED to come across stronger... but the scenes they chose to use of Bauval defending his theory included some stuttering and stammering... like it was an outtake... and it made him look VERY unsure of his own theory.

This is unfortunate. I'm sure Robert had a better response than the one they CHOSE to put in the final version. Same thing with Graham and Ankhor Wat. They left some footage on at the beginning where he's obviously LISTENING to someone ask him a question... but they don't play the audio... he looks dumbfounded by the announcer's voiced-over question... but it really isn't happening.

You can do these little tricks with video, and make someobody look REAL stupid REAL easily.

Just look what the media does with US Presidents.

I'd have to say that the point of the program was to debunk Graham and Bauval... period. It really DID seem to have that purpose in mind. At the end, you just got this impression of a bunch of fat academicians smoking cigars and chuckling smugly between themselves over a glass of cognac.

"Huh huh huh... that'll teach those upstarts..."

Good program, though. It definitely showed some good information about the sites.

And Kate Spence is not what I expected.
