If memory serves me correct it was originally dated at least as old as the IVth Dyansty and maybe even older but then was revised to the present date given. I have challenged Egyptologists to give me proof of it's age but they usually dodge the question. It will be interesting to see what those on this boasrd have to say about it's age and how it was arrived at.
