Have enjoyed the recent banter about "stones"..an ongoing theme,
many here have forwarded interesting concepts..the analytical has been
good too...we are discussing...and tackling it academically..i like that!
Went banging about..looking for earliest known dates for Hydraulic concrete...around and around we went...finally winding up at Hawass's
site...and some minor dialogue on the Osirion.
Went looking for real academic info on the granite stones...did not find anything tangeible.
Question:
A- Has there been study done on the Osirion granite...where was it Quarried...how was it fashioned?
B- Dating...is it for certain that it is 1500years later than the 3 Pryamids at Giza..fashioned in Old Kingdom style..or is this a credible hint..that it is older than the pyramids?
C- Noticed references to governmental control of this site...has the Egyptian government done a study..have they produced data?
