Now here's someone with some good sense to see the bigger picture. Yes, it true, we are flirting with a dangerous and lethal situation, akin to the madness that gripped medeival Europe in the days of the crusades.

Bin Laden or whoever did this mad act of terrorism against the US, is hoping to achieve precisely this: to cause the West to act in anger against the Arab/Muslim world. This act of folly would most certainly be the catalyst for world war.

The world, our world, is precariously in the hands of a few individuals we call 'leaders' who can tip the balance the wrong way. Bush, Blair etc.. versus Bin Laden etc.. I guess this week has driven this reality home, as we sit helpless in front of TV screens and watch them make decision for us. It's the same old story... Or is it?
